Here we have a beautifully presented MR2 MK1. One of only a few factory fitted with air-conditioning, this is a rare find indeed. The car is at a high standard having had lots of work done over the last few years. It is not in concourse condition; there are one or two very small imperfections in the paintwork, and a small part of the boot seal has been torn, but it is otherwise in exceptional mechanical and physical condition. Supplied with 12 months MOT (no advisories), an updated bluetooth stereo (and improved speakers), four excellent new tyres, and with all the work done, this car makes perfect sense to buyer who wishes to use as is, or to someone who requires a near-perfect example from which to complete a concourse restoration. The car was supplied to me by Neil Jones just over a year ago, I am sadly selling the car due to losing the garage space in the near future. I have only ever used the car as a second vehicle in dry weather. If the right buyer is not found I will simply put the car into storage.
Over the last year it has had the following work done:

- Wheels balanced and aligned by Kwik-Fit
- Full service
- New battery
- New bluetooth stereo fitted (period cassette player supplied)
During the previous owner's tenure (approx 2-3 years ago), the car had the following work done:
- Rear arches replaced with inserts
- Seats replaced with second-hand examples from Neil Jones
- Petrol pump replaced
- Spark plugs and distributor cap replaced
- Regularly serviced
- New interior mirror fitted
- Windscreen replaced with fresh mastic
- Rear brakes replaced (callipers retained), and all brakes refurbished
- Speakers upgraded
- Approx 50% respray
- Remote locking fitted (currently not working), central locking works perfectly
- Timing and ancillary belts changed
- Thermostat changed
- Clutch replaced
