This Defender has had only 1 Owner for the first 23 years of its life until 2016 and was always garaged during that time – WOW!
The condition is absolutely superb! – Puts a 3 year old example to shame
Only covered a careful 130, 000 miles, Will come fully serviced with fresh oils etc..
Finished in the very rare factory specialorder Java Black with original style period ‘COUNTY’ decals. Also present and fitted are its original factory steel wheels with the correct Avon Rangemaster matching 7. 50 tyres all round. A set of quality aftermarket side steps/ runners to aid getting in/ out is the only modification to this original black beauty.
Inside the interior boasts the almost unmarked original Moorland cloth trim seats (3 seats to the front + 3 upgraded high back seats in middle row seats in the matching trim and 2 three-man bench seats to the rear) having had seat covers on from almost new!
Even the original carpets are present and in excellent condition. 100 % original interior, with the exception of a CD player.
Out on the road, it is no surprise that it drives absolutely superb with no unusual knocks, bangs or whines. The brakes and steering are tight and precise & The engine and gearbox run and operate as they should with no issues. The 200 Tdi engine is considered to be the best engine Land Rover ever made!
All 5 doors are as new, with no rust what so ever! This really highlights the quality if this fantastic example
The chassis is absolutely rock solid having been professionally waxoyld for added protection.

This is a very hard to find, unspoilt example.
All in all, this is a genuine much-loved Defender in beautiful original condition which ClearLy appears to have had a very easy life. Not to be confused with the usual ‘worked’ examples out there.
Land Rover has ceased production of the legendary Defender since June 2015 so prices of Defenders are rapidly rising and a great investment especially the much sought after 200 Tdi.
