Very rare Read Titan CB77, produced by Read Brothers, Honda dealers in East London. This bike was originally registered in North Devon, then moved to the Coventry area. I purchased it 44 years ago in Windsor, the previous owner had raced it.
The bike has the Read Titan 340cc big bore conversion, half fairing and high level exhaust system (currently with standard exhaust pipes but I have the high level pipes and bracketry). Read Titan also offered high lift cams and gas flowed head, I do not know if these are fitted.
The machine was extensively rebuilt at the time of purchase and most of the cycle parts are still in fair to good condition, particularly the tank and frame. Last on the road in 1978, the bike has been garage stored since and turns over freely. It will need to be registered, I cannot find the original log book, I have 2 tax discs.
The bike is supplied with a range of parts including a spare set of the Hepolite big bore pistons.
Kept as a retirement project but having been retired 2 years I do not have the time to take this on!
