Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole
This classic Ferrari has been in dry storage for a number of years, sadly it is only available due to bereavement.
This is a genuine UK right hand drive car supplied by Maranello Sales Ltd in 1983. The car has only covered a genuine 41817 miles it was last serviced at Graypaul Ferrari Nottingham at 41771 miles. This was a number of years ago as the car has been in storage since 2013.
The car requires light restoration, the lower front spoiler was damaged when it was being moved on the transporter! I have possibly found a good replacement.
The bodywork really could do with a repaint, in the past the passenger door has had a repair which is still in primer. The bonnet has been painted in the past and now has lacquer peel. Plus generally bits and pieces around the bodywork. The floors and sills are in great condition with no signs of rust or previous repairs.
Its interior is in very good condition. The leather seats have no splits or damage, they will benefit from a good clean and leather feed. It still retains all of its original features including the scarce radio. I have tried to test most of the electrical equipment, the electric sunroof works fine. The side windows aren't working "possibly a fuse" Air conditioning tries to work but probably needs recharging.
Mechanically the car starts and runs well. Obviously it will benefit from a service and check over due to the time it has been standing. The four road tyres are all in great condition and appear to have hardly been used, the spare wheels tyre will need replacing.
It comes with its current V5c logbook lots of old M. O. T's & service records. Plus the handbook pack complete with the original Ferrari service and handbook. It still retains its original keys!
A genuine car that with some love will be great again. I am told Ferrari only manufactured 9 Right Hand Drive black Mondial's of this model for the UK market.
After checking the car with HPI it seems that the car or a registration plate associated with the car was recorded as damaged in 1996! I believe this is a registration issue as the car was maintained through the Ferrari network until 2013 but as the last owner of nearly thirty years is no longer with us I cannot find out what happened.
A worthwhile restoration and must be the cheapest way into Ferrari ownership.
