This bike is a very useable classic. It has some original patina from the years of enjoyment of previous owners but is very clean and tidy. It starts and runs well and should be a totally reliable bike. These bikes are becoming popular with those switching from British bikes as they have the look and feel of a British bike of the time.
This one is oil tight and would be perfect for Sunday afternoon runs. The exhausts were rotten and, whilst we could have sold it in this condition, we estimated that it wouldn’t be too long before the new owner needed to buy new silencers. We didn’t want an unhappy customer so we replaced the silencers with modern equivalents of the Dunstall pipes which were around at the time. Not original therefore but we love the sound it makes.
