Riley 1. 5 – Low Ownership/ Original Specification
The Riley 1. 5 was produced from 1957 to 1965. Standard equipment for this small luxury saloon included leather seats, wood trim, two-tone paint schemes and full instrumentation. The Riley 1. 5 used a 62bhp, 1489cc B-Series engine which, driving through a MGA type gearbox, gave excellent performance and was raced with considerable success throughout its production run.
Milestone Classics are delighted to offer for sale an outstanding and highly desirable Riley 1. 5. The car has had just five owners, the first until 2012 and covered 45, 000 miles from new.
The previous owner recommissioned (not restored - the shell was superb) the car over a five year period including:
· A good quality respray in 2012 because of faded paint
· Re-chromed components
· Refurbished interior including new carpets & leather seats cleaned/ fed
· Brakes – Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes, hoses,
· Clutch kit
· Ignition components

Today the car presents extremely well absolutely no corrosion issues and high quality chrome and paintwork. She is a real pleasure to drive with brisk acceleration (for 1960) and copes easily with modern roads. The history file contains original sales literature, handbook, recent MOT’s and invoices.
The Riley 1. 5 represent one of the first executive sports saloons produced and offers the perfect choice for the owner looking for an engaging drive.
