Powered by an excellent engine and gearbox, the Riley 4/ 72 was the rarest of the Farina range back in the 1960s, being a more upmarket version and a lot more expensive than comparable cars from Austin, Morris and other competitors of the day.
You were considered fairly wealthy if you drive a 4/ 72, and the Riley 4/ 72 has now become an extremely rare car, with around 76 still road-registered today. Needless to say, they very rarely come up for sale.
