Stunning Condition having been the subject of a 3 year restoration program works completed by ourselves in 2016
Works included a quality repaint, interior professionally trimmed with Wool Carpets edged in leather, Leather Upholstery thoroughly cleaned and re-connolised , new Mohair Hood Fitted, uprated Audio Fitted, Alloy wheels refinished and Fitted with a New set of Michelin TRX Tyres, Suspension / Brakes Cleaned and Detailed, Engine Serviced and Engine Bay detailed throughout.
Having covered only 3, 000 miles since the completion of our Comprehensive Works this Ferrari has proved reliable and presents today as a Beautiful Top-End Example.
I had the good fortune to Drive a Mondial 3. 2 Cabriolet across Europe a few years ago from Italy back to the UK taking in many notable passes and experiencing beautiful scenery and never getting bored of letting the sports exhaust do its stuff through the beautifully long tunnels the mountains have to offer - so I am quite a fan of this Model with its Classy Looks and Practical Luggage Capacity.
At the time of production the Mondial Cab was the most expensive V8 ferrari in the Production which may have explained why only 57 RHD examples were produced - all of which makes for a rare sight on the roads today. As a drivers car the Mondial Cab drives much better in my opinion than the highly regarded 308 / 328 models and on a nice sunny day driving with the roof down brings immediate comparisons, with the low flat sides & the raked flat screen, to the open feel of a beautiful speedboat.
Fitted with a Mild Sports Exhaust ( in fact a copy of the one I had made for my Italian Journey ) the engine note is slightly deepened but without any resonance to spoil cruising but adds a bit of drama to closed in spaces.
In summary a nice example of a practical sports car which presents, drives and sounds beautiful - it is a worthy edition to any car collection.
