1979 Ford Escort Mk2 Van . RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid and fully uk registered. Solid old van which starts runs and drives but will need some tidying up. Its also mot and tax exempt.
Body - 1979 van . Good solid original inner wings, strut tops, sills. Floors are solid but previously had a bit work on the front. Not the tidiest but no holes. Will need some repairs on the inside of the rear lower quarters at the back. Paintywork is ok but definitely not a show winner. Side windows have been specially made and are bonded in.
Mechanics - 1. 3 crossflow and 4 speed box. Van starts runs and drives and was recently on the road in SA. Will need a good check over mechanically as the MOT system not as strict as ours. You tend to find that bushes and rubbers will need replacing as a minimum due to the heat.
Interior - I think this was trimmed by someone on substances. No rips or tears but a bit too funky for my liking
Wheels - Aftermarket 15" alloys which are decent enough but dont really suit the van.
