Chevrolet Belair 1955 V8 283 Manual 4 door Very Unique Right Hand Drive.
Imported in from South Africa 17 years this car draws so much attention wherever you drive it and finished in the best colour combination, as the car has spent 48 years of its life in a very hot dry country the underside of the car is very solid and does not appear to have had any welding carried out as far as I can see.
The Gentleman who purchased the the car in 2003 loved and cherished the car while he owned it and according to his son in law whatever the car needed it was replaced to keep it in a road worthy condition, unfortunately he passed away in 2016 and the car was left to his son in law in his will, the car has only been driven a handful of times since.
The car was collected from the deceased address and since then the car has been checked over and had 4 new white wall tyres and new battery.
The bodywork is very good for its age with all original panels, the rear arches and sills are in superb condition, for the age it is in really remarkable condition for a unrestored car.
The interior trim is in superb condition with only a very small nick on top of the rear seat, it has had 4 inertia seat belts and 2 centre lap belts fitted which look like they have been professionally fitted.
The boot/ trunk is packed out with loads of spares including a spare gearbox, many Chevy wheel trims,
loads distributor parts, gasket sets clutch parts, horns, and much more.
The V8 engine runs nice and quite and smooth there is no axle or transmission noise it a pleasure to drive.
There is a tow bar fitted so you can enjoy taking the car to shows and taking your caravan with you.
Still has its original radio fitted which does work in a fashion.
So here we have a very rare Chevy which is fantastic value for money so be quick you will not find many other right hand drives.
