Exterior: This Alpina B6 3. 5 was repainted in June 2006 and has not been on the road much since. Original factory colour “diamantschwarz” where used. It still looks like a brand-new car! It was given a highly professional paintjob and the entire car was dismantled. Every little part that you could possibly see some ware on, was replaced at this time. New rubber in doors and around windows. New plastic inner fenders etc etc. Rolling on the original Alpina wheels also in perfect condition. With classic cars it is rare that I describe a car as flawless since I think you can always find something, but this Alpina B6 3. 5 E30 I have to say is a flawless and perfect original looking car.
Interior: The interior is super clean and kept in the best possible way as when the car left the factory. Alpina Recaro seats, carpets, door cards are in a very nice condition and not a stain of dirt anywhere. Dashboard, door handles etc are also perfect and free from cracks and sun fading. Instrument facia glass without scratches and the instrument cluster.
Engine: When you open the hood on this car it feels like you open it for the first time and the year is 1989. Without over restoring the engine bay has been brought back to its former glory. The engine runs perfect. It has not been rebuilt inside, but many smaller parts around it has been replaced. This is one of the 218 Alpina B6 3. 5 produced between 1984-1990. Alpina modified the cylinder-head and combustion chambers, the fitted lighter Mahle pistons with higher compression. A new camshaft and a new exhaust system to increase the power from 218hp to 254 in catalyst version. Also fitted a five speed Getrag gearbox.
History: This is one of the just over 20 Alpina B6 E30 cars that where sold new here in Sweden. It was registered here in Sweden for the first time on the 7th of February 1990. The first two years it stayed in the family of the BMW importer during this time. After this there has been 3 owners including todays owner. The complete owner’s history is known with name and addresses of previous owners. All documents regarding this car has been collected in a big binder. It comes with all original tools, spare, jack and original handbook and service book. A true collector’s item and probably the best car available on the market today.
