ChasingCarsUk have the pleasure of offering you this this fantastic opportunity to own this Porsche 924 Turbo, finished in Mocha Black with a matching Pasha interior. Built in January 1980, not only has this car been recently restored, but also will be MOT and tax exempt as of January 2020. Please also remember that the Series 1 Turbo does not suffer from the crank sensor issues as found in the later models. The service book has been stamped up fully for the first 10 years and 66000 miles of its life, but with regret that is where, for a while at least, the trail goes an bit cold. In 2007 it was passed to a new owner who drove it about 800 miles in 2 years before laying the vehicle up until 2017. Since then, the car has been very fortunate to have been looked after by a classic Porsche trained mechanic. He stripped and rebuilt the vehicle, preparing it for a full respray costing about £6000 and with a fully refreshed interior. Mechanically, as you can imagine the vehicle had a massive overhaul - air and oil filters, spark plugs, cam and aux belts, ht leads - new pulleys, fuel system front to back - full brake rebuild as well as renewing all of the suspension bushes, shock absorbers all round and lastly the cooling system!
