This is the real deal, the one they all want… a Reliant Regal Supervan 3! The same vehicle as featured in Only Fools and Horses.
In fact, this is the highly desirable 21E spec Supervan, top of the range when new!
It is all there and very original.
700c engine.
V5 document and keys both present.
Showing 75k miles on the clock.
I have not tried to start it, as it will obviously need a good going over / restoration first.
Original (rare) interior, including the ultra-rare and highly desirable rear seats!
At some point windows have been fitted in the rear panels, a common aftermarket addition back in the 70’s. These are very easily replaced (if required), in order to return it back to a ‘panel van’.
As is very common on these, the chassis does require some work. It has suffered from corrosion along the drivers side and the front A-frame area. A temporary fix has recently been made to the A-Fame, to facilitate the vehicles movement, but this will require replacing.
As mentioned, a spare chassis and A-frame are included – giving options to either repair or replace the existing ones.
This is to be considered a full restoration project. Please refer to pictures – what you see is what you get really.
The van is located in Chelmsford, Essex – viewings welcome. Alternatively, if distance is an issue, I can pass on the contact details of a very reliable (and cheap) transporter who I have used several time, covers the entire UK and is happy / able to transport three wheelers (you'd be surprised how many can't or won't).
I am happy to assist the buyer in any way that I can to facilitate their collection/ delivery.
