Originally owned by Honda UK as a press vehicle – all the official press release material show this vehicle with the registration showing.
A letter from Honda is present confirming this car to be the first Mugen M200 to be produced and that it is number 000.

History:
Originally registered by Honda UK, this example was the first Mugen M200 produced, and served as the original press release vehicle.
As such this car is numbered 000 of 200 with a letter from Honda UK confirming this.
Also within the paperwork file is the original spare key, invoices matching the service stamps, and of course old MOT certificates.

Body & Paintwork:
The Mugen 200 had many exterior features that were specific to this limited edition model.
Namely the 19? Lightning alloy wheels, along with the Mugen front and rear bumpers and gloss black mirrors.
The Championship white paintwork is in very good order, and presents well having benefitted from a full professional machine polish.
All wheels are original, non refurbished wheels, and all are in great condition minus a few small age related marks.
An aesthetically striking car, which certainly has a way of letting people know it is no ordinary Honda Civic Type R.
Interior & Trim:
With so few owners and such low mileage, the interior is in superb condition throughout.
The fantastic alacantara edged bucket seats look brilliant, and hold you firmly in position.
Everything works just as it should do and the digital dashboard still looks great today, it has aged very well, still looking very modern.
On the centre console is the Mugen specific number, this being number 000 of 200 produced.
Original floor mats are still in place, and are in good condition, as are the original aluminium pedals, and ‘Type R’ sill plates.
No added speakers or aftermarkets stereo’s, it is just as it came from the factory.
Engine:
The famous K20 engine… an engine which loves to be revved, and is excellent fun to drive.
The car starts first attempt of course, and is a lovely quiet engine.
With full Honda service history, this vehicle has clearly been loved, and led a cherished life.
On the road, the car performs well, with smooth acceleration and no hesitations through the rev range.
VTEC comes in just as it should do, and makes a fantastic noise.
The Mugen 200 also had a limited slip differential fitted from factory, which of course operates perfectly.
A truly great car to drive.
Running Gear:
As you would expect, all running gear is in good order, and the car drives exactly as it should do.
The brakes are still impressive and pull straight.
The handling is very responsive and the limited slip diff fitted to the Mugen 200 model makes it a very capable machine which is also fantastic fun.
