This stunning example of a 1965 Ford Mustang 289 V8 Automatic is now offered for sale. After a six-month restoration process here at our Mustang and Cobra Factory.
We set about restoring this black plate Californian beauty to its former glory. The paintwork was taken back to bare metal and found to be extremely solid and the decision was taken to paint the car Brilliant white which I am sure you would agree is outstanding.
The engine has been taken out and the engine bay painted in Satin Black, an original colour for this area of the car, whilst the engine was out of the car it was painted along with the car’s ancillaries in their original colours. All chrome is new or has been re-polished.
The interior is also completely new, we have installed the Pony Deluxe interior in white, and added all-new Dashboard, Dash pad, bezels etc. The convertible roof is also new and is electric.
The Mustang sits on brand new American Racing Torque thrust wheels shod with new BF Goodrich Tyres. Upgraded modern Radio with Bluetooth in chrome retro style.
The suspension has been upgraded and new power disc brakes have been installed, this with the power steering makes for an exceptional ride and would be superb on any European Tour.
The car has had a total “makeover” and is possibly one of the best in the U. K.
