Now available to view in our showroom, this is a superb example of a classic that was never officially available! Everyone is familiar with the saloon version of the cooper ‘S’ and a few people wishing to be different in the sixties beat a path to John Cooper Garages where they produced just six cars only.
The last owner acquired this car in 2012 with the intention of creating the car that he had always wanted. To this end he found a two owner, low mileage car which had been stored for many years.
The car was fully stripped to a bare shell, this was blasted and completely rebuilt with many replacement panels. A full respray in Snowberry White was carried out along with replacement of the Wood Trim. Mechanically the car was treated to a fully rebuilt Cooper S Engine bored out to 1330cc, fitted with a Swiftune SWS Camshaft, Twin 1. 25 SU Carbs, ‘Maniflow’ Free-flow Exhaust Manifold, Custom Exhaust, Oil Cooler, etc. A full brake overhaul with the fitting of 7. 5? Front Discs and with a servo means that driving in traffic is no problem.
