1972 Land Rover Series III 109
We are delighted to be offering this stunning Land Rover 109" 3 door, 2 1/ 4 litre petrol with 4 speed manual with overdrive and free wheel hubs at the front. Fully retrimmed with leather throughout and electric adjustable power steering!
Has been in the same family ownership since the early 1990's, around 1993 was taken Holland and used as a holiday vehicle. Subject to a restoration during 2016-2018 costing in excess of 14, 000euros. with fully documented invoices. Returned to the UK 2019 after being restored. Finished in Pastel Green with limestone roof and wheels. During the restoration a earlier series bulkhead has been fitted which adds a lot more character.

As can be seen from the photos this Landy is in stunning condition and with it being fitted with overdrive and power steering is a very useable classic landrover.
2016-2018 restoration work-
Fully overhaul gearbox/ transfer box
Fit new clutch
Replace new Lucus starter motor
Electric power steering bespoke made to the vehicle (EZ power steering)
Complete interior with leather in Truffle Brown
New air flap rubber seals
Refurbish x5 wheels
Full body restoration
during the last 3 months we have bought the engine bay and various other areas up to the same standard as the rest of the vehicle, fully stripping and rebuilding the front end and engine bay
New galvanised body capping
New headlight surrounds
New front grill
New front side light and indicator units
New rear indicator units
New door/ bulkhead stainless steel bolts with new rubber gaskets
All engine ancillaries shot blasted and power coated
New inner wings shot blasted and power coated
Old style black plastic digit number plates that would have been factory fitted
New air filter pipe
New genuine Land Rover airfilter elbow pipe
Engine bay wiring tidied up and refreshed were needed
Engine stripped of ancillarys and steam cleaned then painted in factory colours
Chassis chemically cleaned them steamed cleaned and repainted in factory colour.
On rebuild up of engine, any gasket or nut/ bolt that required replacing was and to factory spec
its been a pleasure and a change to work on a 47 year old Land Rover were all the nuts and bolts have come apart with ease, super solid and is ready for its new owner to use and enjoy. Documented photos of all work we have undertaken
