This beauty is an original and certified Ferrari F1 F399 Showcar. Ferrari F399 is the Formula One that competed in World Champion- ship during all 1999, with Michael Schumacher and Eddie Irvine.
During the season an accident forced Michael Schumacher to quit for a part of the year, but with the help of Eddie Irvine and Mika Salo the F399 won the constructor World Championship.
The F399 Showcar is a car built for promotional use at the end of the year, with original parts of the raced car and some other parts built specially for this use. In this specific case, the chassis number 26, a lot of parts comes from the original car including the fantastic seat and steering wheel used from M. S. that still show the FIA STICKER from that year. The car is static, without engine and electronics, made in carbon fiber exactly like the original car.
Just a few of this Showcar were produced from Ferrari in that year (and in total), and are all in Sponsor hands like Marlboro, Shell, Brid- gestone, Telecom. Is really really difficult that this types of car comes to the market.
