Porsche 911T Comfort package
First registered 01/ 03/ 1971.
Original UK delivered RHD coupe with a very recent restoration by Independent Porsche specialist’s D9 Autotech.
Originally supplied in olive (3939) this 911 is now in stunning slate grey metallic and has been subject to extensive restoration with some very large bills and a comprehensive list of new metal bodywork sections.
Originally delivered as a 2. 2T sportomatic the car was subject to a later replacement manual 5 speed 915 gearbox and a correct 911t 2. 4 engine back in the late 80's, early 90's. The 2. 4 engine is strong and pulls well with plenty of power through the rev ranges and the gearbox delivers a smooth change which makes for a fun engaging drive.
Recent major service and 2 new tyres, carbs professionally tuned on a rolling road, this fast paced 911 is running superbly. Reliable and fun to drive, I've just completed a 600 mile round trip without missing a beat.
A great classic fun RHD 911 that is ready to be enjoyed as a drivers car with all of the key work undertaken and ready for the new owner to enjoy.
Comfort package included:
Velour carpets, gold Porsche nameplate and model number, aluminum door sills, 911s rubber moldings to bumpers and below doors, chrome rocker panels, 911s instruments, rubber bumperettes, leather covered steering wheel.
Optional equipment also included, Koni dampers, Fuchs Alloy wheels, front and rear stabilisers, rear wiper, tinted and electric windows.
The fronts seats have been professionally re-trimmed in the original option of black leatherette with cord inlays with new foams and look great and are very comfortable.
With this sympathetic restoration the car retains much of its original interior and patina both inside and out.
It’s not a full nut and bolt restoration but one that has preserved many of its original parts such as exterior chrome work and interior trim and components. It's by no means a garage queen or such an expensive resto that you're scared to use it and theres always room for some improvements down the line if you so wish.
During the build, many of the key mechanical components have been replaced, upgraded or refurbished.
