1991 Peugeot P4
Your eyes do not deceive you – this is not a G-Wagen, but a derivative built for the French military by Peugeot. The mighty Peugeot P4 was designed to comfortably carry four men with a radio, and light enough to be transported by plane and occasionally thrown out the side of them with a parachute on.
First entering service in 1984, with a period being manufactured by Panhard, production stopped in 1992. This example is a 1991 diesel car proudly wearing military colours, though it has lived a life rather distant from abusive active service.
Freshly MoT’d and in great condition all round, this oddball wagon is a guaranteed head turner and brilliant French tank to disturb the Chelsea tractors..
