1981 Fiat Spyder 2. 0 litre injection, restoration project last used on the road in 1998.
The engine was removed from the vehicle 10 years ago with a head gasket failure. The water had rusted one of the bores. The block was bored to fit 4 new pistons . This is where the repair stopped.
The engine requires putting back together and then refitting to the car. To do this it will require a gasket set, cambelt kit, new clutch ( for piece of mind) and some fresh fluids.
The body is in generally good order , however there is corrosion in the rear outer arches as well as a small amount on the inner arch.
Brakes will require stripping and cleaning.
The interior is black vinyl and in excellent order.
The roof is dirty and in good order.
Front and rear bumpers rusty , but these should be removed to enhance the car’s appearance.
