The mk 3 Humber Sceptre had a 9 year production run and was built with the 1725cc engine inclined by 15 degrees to give a lower bonnet line and to allow clearance for the twin Stromberg carburettors and linked to a manual overdrive gearbox. Now a very rare car with few of these luxury vehicles available for sale.
The car has matching numbers and the odometer reads just over 39000 miles, believed to be correct given its ownership history and condition.
A bare metal respray was carried out about 8 years ago and the car had been stored for several years until I purchased it last year. Since then it has been fully recommissioned including 5 new tyres, full service and replacing all fluids plus underbody resealed.
There is previous history and photos along with full details of the recent work carried out and a current MOT certificate until June 2021 with no advisories.
The car drives very well without any issues, good oil pressure and a quiet transmission with everything working correctly and being used on the road regularly (weather permitting).
