Description

KFR 175D is a beautiful final production specification example of the Healey 3000 MkIII convertible. Built on 10th June 1966 this Healey was fully loaded from the factory with wire wheels, an adjustable steering column, overdrive, a heater plus a laminated windscreen.

Now fully restored from a bare tub, KFR 175D has covered just 4, 000 miles since. During restoration the car received a comprehensive engine rebuild whereby it was upgraded to a fast road specification including our high flow inlet manifold and a tubular exhaust manifold, aluminium head with performance camshaft, Mallory distributor, spin on oil filter, braided fuel lines and more.

Inside, the car has been treated to a Navy leather retrim to replace the original vinyl plus a Navy carpet set both of which remain excellent. The hood is luxuriously trimmed in mohair and remains in excellent clean and taught condition.

As a result of its high specification upgrades added during restoration and low mileage since this Healey is wonderful and responsive to drive, riding nicely and accelerating rapidly. Pleasingly the car drives in a superior fashion while remaining entirely original in its aesthetic.

Supplied with restoration documentation, MkIII drivers handbook, MOT & service history, spare keys plus wheel hammer and jack.
