1928 Austin 7 Chummy - Concours Winner
Needing little in the way of introduction, the Austin 7 of the Vintage period has special appeal to enthusiasts of all ages.
In total over 290, 000 Austin 7s were built between 1922 and 1939 and this most loved of all small British cars has an enduring following.
This 1928 Austin 7 Chummy has been the subject of a major restoration with final work completed just two years ago. There are substantial bills on file with all work having been carried out by highly regarded Austin 7 specialists. There is also an original handbook, list of spare parts amd schedule of charges for repairs - so good to have these original documents available. History is well presented in two large files.
This car has won several concours awards including the ‘showroom class’ at Beaulieu National Austin 7 Rally in 2017 and 2018.
Correctly finished in maroon and black with deep red interior trim and new carpets. Full weather equipment includes the hood envelope, sidescreens.
