Located in the USA... no salt on roads.... Located in Portland Oregon USA... private seller...
- The 1968 Mustang spare and rebuilt strong S code 390 engine is still available for $4, 500... USD dollars.... including a rebuilt 4-speed Ford RUG-CD transmission...
- I don’t have the specs for the rebuilt engine, but considering that a simple rebuild on a 390 engine runs about $3, 000, anything to enhance performance that might have been added during the rebuild would be a plus.
Note:
- Somebody looked at the engine some time back and said that the heads are high-torque (not the original); the block is the original.
- And as you can see the intake manifold was upgraded to Edelbrok
1968 Ford Mustang is where the S code 390 engine is from.
- The spare including a rebuilt 4-speed Ford RUG-CD transmission.... was from a different vehicle, of which I don’t have details.
- This spare 390 S code engine and trans.... Will be great for any custom Ford hot rods or projects to restore or finish...
