1957 Simca Aronde Plein Ciel Coupe . Coachwork by Facel of France , a rare and very expensive ( in its day ) 2 seater sports Coupe. First owner lived on the Champs Ellysee Paris then emigrated to Mexico in 1960 with the car . Now just imported into UK awaiting registration the car features a 1600 cc Datsun engine and gearbox for reliability , performance and spares availability.
The underside is in excellent condition and the brakes overhauled with new wheel cylinders and shoes however the master cylinder needs overhaul .
The interior is in good clean condition and features a lovely retro steering wheel and dash and a Simca Radio
The bodywork is sound with good panel gaps and all original trim in place but will need prepping and a repaint to make perfect . Money well spent as a search has only revealed one other similar but restored car at £ 48K
Minilight style alloys have just been reshod with new radials.
Bumpers are straight but will need a rechrome.
