For Sale:Simca 1000 Rallye Street Racer 1972 for the classic car enthusiast, I am offering a unique and passionately built SIMCA 1000 from 1972, built to Rallye 2 specifications.
Between 2016 and 2019, this special retro street racer was fully restored and rebuilt. The bodywork has been made completely rust-free from the ground up and is in excellent condition. This 54-years-old is street legal , has a license plate, MOT, and is also Tax exempt.
Under the hood lies a powerful newly rebuild engine 1294 cc (+/- 95 HP)equipped with among other things: dual 40 mm Webers/ toothed belt for alternator and water pump/ Electronic 123 ignition.
The car is further equipped with a built-in not certified roll cage and period-correct (1972) wheel body kit with front spoiler , ensuring an authentic and sporty appearance. The standard drive shafts have been replaced by specially developed units with external constant velocity joints.
This SIMCA Rallye is a true experience: lightweight rear-wheel drive classic witch a skilled driver leaves modern cars behind on winding country roads. A rare sight that perfectly combines driving pleasure and nostalgia!
