BMW R68
Completely restored in the UK a few years ago.
After the completly nut and bolt job, it was
only driven 1, 210 miles.
Very nice condition.
Comes with Keckeisen 2-1 exhaust system.
According to the BMW Archive, it was sent to the
BMW dealer Zeiss & Schwärtzel in Mannheim on 15th may of 1954.
In correspondence with the BMW Archive, the frame and
the nameplate where identified as original.
The engine was also identified as beeing a replacement engine from BMW
with the engine numbers stamped in as original.
Since the bike unfortunately no longer has its original engine installed,
no certificate was issued. That's is the only reason why this very pretty R68
does not cost 50, 000 euros.
