This A50 is a genuine, original, unbelievably solid example with a detailed history.
It has been in storage for many years and now selling as a project/ restoration.
The engine is free, but unfortunately there is no clutch or brakes.
The Austin has been family owned for a massive 50 years!
Retailed by A. Naylor and bought in 1955 this Austin was owned by the same family until approximately 2003, maybe even later.
The mileage it has covered, 96, 519, looks to be correct. There's nothing to prove it wrong, only documents to support it.
Registered as historic in the current V5, it benefits from tax and MOT exemption.
Within the paper work is its original bill of sale, invoice deposit slip, maintenance service voucher book, original guarantee certificate, lots of service invoices back to 1955 from the supplying dealer and even has the complimentary pocket hand soap still in the paper work!
There are also lots of additional invoices, schedule of repair and charges, handbook, original warranty document and lubrication chart.
The MOTs within the paper work date from 1962 to 1989 confirming a steadily increasing mileage over the years.
