This is my stunning and rare 1966 Honda S90 with just 6. 6k miles from new and is a genuine UK bike.
I bought this S90 (S for Sport) from the second owner around 15 years ago and had been stored in a shed for many years down in deepest Norfolk. I had the best of intentions of restoring it. As ever life takes over and I never actually put a spanner to the bike.
I passed the bike on to my now late father who fully restored the S90 in around 2007 and then he gave it back to me a couple of years later. After a few years of being on display, I sold it on to a family friend, who about a year ago sold it back to me…. are you still with me?
My little S90 has had no expense spared and is in the condition you see in the photo’s. It has been a display bike since its restoration, but it starts and runs no problem at all. The engine runs sweetly and the clutch and gearbox work perfectly.
I would suggest that it will need a light recommission/ check over to go back on the road due to the amount of time it’s spent off the road; (I’ve never ridden it!).
The only small issue that I can see is that the front forks have a slight weep.
At 54 years old, it is tax and MOT exempt although it is SORN at present.
It has all the handbook two keys, the V5C in my name, various period and genuine Honda spares/ service books, lots of receipts the CD of the restoration, old road tests and a bike cover (not picture).
It’s just a peach of a bike that deserves a new owner; to be appreciated, ridden and enjoyed!
