This superb example is entered into the upcoming Historics auction at Mercedes Benz world on the 27th November. The R129 series SL were produced from 1989 to 2001. Within that period the 300SL-24 models were produced between 1989 through to 1993, so a relatively short term within the R129 production series . This example was registered in August 1992, and is finished in Pearl blue metallic paint (3480) complemented by a contrasting beige leather interior. With only 4 previous owners the car has covered 45, 000 miles, whilst retaining a full Mercedes-Benz service history throughout its 29 years of life. With the original Blaupunkt Canberra radio/ cassette player adding to the cars originality, the specification of drivers’ airbag, air conditioning, electrically adjustable seats and 8 hole 16" alloys wheels makes this example very well specified.
