1979 MERCEDES-BENZ 450 SLC - STUNNING CONDITION
Fresh out of a private collection owing to the owner recently part exchanging for an immaculate 911 turbo is this stunning Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC . Presented in a beautiful hue of sapphire blue metallic over a dark blue leather interior it presents exceptionally well having had a small fortune invested over recent years to ensure it looks as well as it does today. Bills in the last 18 months total over £5000 and include a replacement subframe, new prop couplings front and rear, new vac pipes, replacement various relays, new gear linkage, cam covers, gearbox mount, in addition to this the very problematic heater box has been removed and repaired as replacements are no longer available. Those in the know will appreciate this is a huge job as it involves removing all the dashboard and centre console to replace - not easy!
I am sure anyone re`ding this will appreciate that this is a car that has been extremely well maintained and really does drive without fault. All the wheels have been recently refurbished and four new fallen tyres are also fitted.
Inside the interior trim is in superb order and all the leather seat facings have been re connolised throughout , it even has a modern high quality audio system and front and rear hidden cameras!!!
The paintwork is extremely clean overall save for two very small blemishes below the surface (one on the bootlid, the other on the nearside front wing) , these can be taken care of if necessary dependent on the deal agreed.
This is an extremely well priced c107 if you look at the current market as we are keen to free up some workshop space for lots of other projects we have underway!
