A best seller in the mid – 1930’s, the Austin 10/ 4 gained an enviable reputation for economy and dependability
Capable of almost 60 mph and with a frugal fuel consumption, it was the car of choice for thousands of families.
Today, survivors are catered for by the enthusiastic Austin Ten Drivers’ Club, making these cars a very popular choice as a practical and highly useable small pre-war car.
The Colwyn Cabriolet has always been a popular model offering much versatility with its three-position hood. A characterful model it is much sought after today.
This 1935 Colwyn Cabriolet, finished correctly in Westminster Green, has been in the current ownership for the past 30 years and is a reluctant sale due to ill health. She is in good sound order with a serviceable hood which has recently been re-proofed. She also retains her original East Sussex registration number.
The car drives well with the engine showing good oil pressure, whilst the interior has been retrimmed in recent years.
