1994 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution II RS
A proper lightweight JDM turbo saloon, and an increasingly collectible vehicle, this 1994 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution II RS is a superb example that has benefited from recent ownership by fastidious enthusiasts.
As a rare RS variant the car features a mechanical limited-slip differential, no radio or speakers, manual windows and lightweight interior. The car was imported in 2016 by specialists Torque GT and boasts a full 12 stamp service history. To date, the car has covered just 57, 702 kilometres from new.
Having been diligently cared for, the car presents in superb condition today and must be one of the best examples out there. Most recently owned by a long time DoL customer and true enthusiast, the car recently received an incredibly thorough, no-expense spared mechanical overhaul by specialists Auto Torque.
This work included the following:
- Full service
- Replace cambelt including balance shaft belt
- New exhaust system
- New front and rear brake calipers
- New MeisteR ZetaCRD coilovers
- New three port boost solenoid
- New upgraded fuel pump
- New induction kit
- Fitment of later 560cc Evolution injectors
The car was then given a full alignment and necessary checks and tweaks before heading to the rolling road. The car was fitted with an Evolution 6 ECU, OBD port and harness and received a custom remap with a dyno print out showing some 283 horsepower. The total cost of this work was £7, 161. 02 and was carried out in March 2020, with a new clutch fitted in May 2020 at a cost of £896. 51.
With this extensive recent work the car is in superb on-the-button condition today and represents a fine example of a sought after JDM hero.
