Here is a Very Rare Find a Volkswagen Passat 1. 6 GLS B 1 model 1979 which was an Original UK supplied car which came to Ireland a few years back.
The car is Very Original and has only 95000 miles and being the GLS model it has the Nicer seats, Rev counter, chrome trims All round and is fitted with Genuine Vw 13 inch alloy wheels with 4X New tyres and also a spare Alloy wheel without a tyre.
This is a 4 speed manual car but comes with a 5 speed gearbox which can be fitted if required by the new owner.
The car is very solid underneath but there are a few slight rust blisters in places on the body that should probably be Treated and if you wanted this to be in Show Room condition then a Full Respray would Transform this Car but it is Very Presentable as it stands in its Original Bronze colour.
The car starts and Runs well and i have driven it for a short spin and it cruises comfortably at 70 MPH.
I have taken this as a Trade in and i am a Vw Enthusiast but i just do not have the time or space to accomadate this so I WILL LET THIS GO TO SOMEONE THAT WILL APRECIATE THIS AND THIS REALISTICALLY WOULD LOOK GREAT AND BE A CROWD DRAWER IN ANY VOLKSWAGEN DEALERSHIP SHOWROOM.
