Reputedly a Factory Demonstrator this car left the works on 2nd September 1938 despatched to Monks &Evans of Nottingham. The car has had a number of owners and in recent years has undergone a programme of maintenance and improvement regardless of expense. Mechanically the engine has been totally rebuilt by Alvis specialists with work including steel crank and con-rods , forged pistons and an aluminium head, . A fine example of one of the legendary cars of the Thirties, cars in this condition this rarely become available.
