Improved driveability sums up this particular Alvis with Hydraulic brakes, alternator, improved lighting and modern pedal arrangement. Built 25/ 5/ 31 the first owner being James Wallace McFarlane of Glasgow (awarded MC and two Bars in WW1) Following a serious accident in the 1960’s it was off the road for many years , engine replaced with correct listed engine. Repaired and rebuilt it returned to the road in 1990. Regularly serviced, regularly used and maintained to a high standard in recent years. A driver’s car throughout.
