The F430 Challenge is a non-road legal variant of the road-going Ferrari F430, it has been extensively modified by Ferrari to boost its on circuit performance with extensive weight reduction and suspension changes. Just like in previous Ferrari Challenge cars the engine has largely remained the same as on the production road cars except for some enhanced breathing by means of a racing exhaust system and some engine management tweaks and fine blueprinting. Furthermore the body styling has received very few styling changes with the Formula One inspired single central nut BBS wheels covering the enormous carbon brakes.
This Ferrari F430 Challenge Fitted with SBR’s Aero kit comprising deep front bumper with improved cooling, carbon front splitter and rear wing. The car has adjustable Ohlin dampers (developed by SBR), uprated Engine ECU’s, improved gearshift with TCU, passenger seat, repackable race exhaust system and steel brake conversion. This race car has been maintained regardless of cost. The car has recently undergone complete fluids change and engine service. The car is ready to race and comes with 2 x sets of wheels.
SBR campaigned this car for several years with many podium finishes in Britcar, GT Cup and Ferrari Pirelli Open. A new engine was fitted 2011 and only raced 4 times after that and has had only covered 2100Km. The car was semi retired to track days and had very little use after 2016.
