One of Just 189 examples produced. This beautiful & very original car is in superb running condition. Recipient of a full engine rebuild just a few thousand miles ago, the engine runs silently, powerfully & with the famed Lagonda V12 Smoothness. The car has resided in several different collections since the 1950's & as a result has seen little use over the past decades.
Coachwork is that of Lagonda's own 4 door saloon making for a rakish sporting car with comfortable seatiing for 4 people. Driving this back to back with a 4. 25 Derby Bentley Saloon makes you realise what an advanced car this was then it came out.
The car is finished in Masons Black paintwork with the paint being in good order throughout. To the interior is patinated original red leather to the seats & door cards again in lovely condition. The Burr Walnut dash is likewise all original giving a delightul period ambience for those lucky enough to experience a trip n the car.
The car has just been fully gone though & freshly serviced by our workshops so is in impeccable running condition. You really have to drive one of these to appreciate just how good they are feeling more like a post war car then a pre war car. 80 MPH on the M25 is effortlessly attained & the car accelerates up hills with alacrity.
The real beauty of this car is how original & untouched it is. That combined with the rebuilt engine makes for a fast & elegant pre war sports saloon. In 1939 this was simply the epitone & last word in sporting cars with little that cold touch it.
