This incredibly original Morris Isis is a true time warp, the car features a huge level of originality and has arrived with us with a recorded mileage of 50, 500. The Morris has spent much of its life off the road dry stored in a warehouse explaining its low, attractive mileage. Our Isis has been off the road for 40 years up to 2018 when it was re-commissioned with all new oils, brand new clutch, new battery, brake overhaul, carburettor overhaul and in the weeks prior to arrival, has covered around 30 faultless miles.
EHF 828 presents very well with an excellent, strong body and straight underbody. The external body panels are lovely and straight with good gaps, much of the paintwork is highly original and has a lovely, aged patina. The interior retains its original carpets and seat covers, similar to the exterior it looks and feels honest, original and very genuine.
On the road the Morris will not disappoint. The lusty six cylinder engine is fabulous with impressive power and performance and the floor change four speed gearbox is great to use. The Morris starts on the button, drives, and handles well and is today an incredibly rare car. Whilst few Morris Isis examples have survived, this is somewhat of an unrepeatable opportunity considering its low mileage and of course high level of originality. This has never been a car left to deteriorate and can prove a wonderful family car for shows, events and regular use.
