motodrome offer for sale this 1986 military-spec GS TUM Land Rover 110 2. 5 Diesel soft top, finished in NATO IRR drab.
fitted with: Power steering, military front bumper, front light guards, a matching set of 4 BFG mud-terrain tyres on black modular rims, sidesteps, checkerplate to wingtops and bonnet, military hood, and rear bumperettes. Also comes with a bikini top. Internally it has 3 seats and the correct military roll bar.
The last owner but one, on acquiring it in 2015, embarked on a complete strip down to the chassis (which remains the original) and repaired or replaced various rusty or worn out components and areas, rebuilt the axles etc, topping it off with a respray in IRR drab,. Importantly, he resisted the temptation to put a 200tdi conversion in, so it retains it’s military-spec 12J normally aspirated diesel motor, which is a military reconditioned unit. He did however fit power steering, which makes it a bit more manoeverable.
We supplied it to the last owner, a British Army NCO, in Summer 2018 and it’s just come back to us as he’s now gone to Australia. Apart from general servicing, in his time it had a new pair of front outriggers fitted.
Odometer reading 128000 kms (80000m) , and it comes with MOT to October 2021 and 6 months warranty (if supplied in the UK)
Chassis etc is original with the correct number, so this one is exportable.
