Specified with the traditional Rover British Racing Green Metallic paintwork with contrasting 'Minilite' 15' alloy road wheels. The coachwork remains totally original & unrestored throughout, still displaying the supplying dealerships branded number plates & rear window sticker. The underside is fortunatly free of damage or previous welding - repairs!
INTERIOR:
Optioned with the Charcoal wave design cloth upholstery with a very minimal specification list - Manual windows, no sunshine roof or air conditioning! However, every item still feels crisp & as new with an air of simple but high quality throughout.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION:
Built with the excellent 'K Series' 1396cc four cylinder, 16v, twin cam petrol engine coupled to a five speed manual transmission.
Upon inspection, this 12k mile Rover 25 drives as you would imagine - pretty much as new! We covered circa seventy five miles with a mixture of motorway & A roads without fuss or flaw. A real pleasure to drive.
HISTORY FILE:
Originally supplied via 'Imperial' Rover main dealership in Middlesex during September 2001 & registered with the first new format of UK registrations, '51'.
Supplied new to the O' Regan family & has remained loyal to them ever since, only offered to the market due to a bereavement. She had been sparingly enjoyed until 2014 & was then placed into storage until this year when the family decided to release the 25 into the market, hoping the new keeper would be a fellow marque enthusiast! The Rover has since been inspected, maintained & MoT tested for road use.
The Rover is accompanied by the original leather bound book pack containing the stamped service booklet, previous MoT test certificates, two sets of keys & alarm fobs, '25' owners handbook & in car entertainment guide.
