Description
1951 Plymouth Cranbrook Convertible P23. Production figure of only 4, 171 convertible's made which makes this a fairly rare car.
Imported into the UK around 3 years ago.
It's running a flat head six 3. 6 ltr engine with a 3 speed manual gearbox with overdrive which works as it should. It runs very well with great oil pressure and at constant temperature.
The paintwork of the car cleans up well and has a nice shine, it does has some marks and cracks here and there but is still very usable. The chrome work and stainless trim is in very good condition.
It also has the original power convertible cloth top making it easy to put down and back up again. Has recently had a new convertible hydraulic top pump.
It drives remarkable well for a nearly 70 year old car. It does have the crossply wide whitewall tyres that do wander about a bit as all crossply tyres do.
It's nice and clean underneath with a stainless exhaust system.
All in all its a great Convertible .... To get "early alerts" for our classic cars/ bikes/ scooters and other interesting stuff please check out and FOLLOW our new Instagram page at trojanclassiccars
