Here for sale is my 1981 Fiat 238 Laika. It's in usable condition, runs and drives very well.
Comes with full years MOT
It sleeps 4. A double bed in the back and two bunk beds, the bunk above will need reinstating.
I've had the electrics updated in the back so it works off a new split charge system and can be connected to 240v campsite electrics. It has a really cool original yellow and orange awning from the 80s! I've just upgraded the gear linkages so that's all good.
It's completely solid underneath, any inspection welcome. There's a couple of surface rust bubbles on the body work but nothing serious.
The van has only done 41000 miles since new and has clearly been well looked after.
It plods along at 55mph, similar to a T2 bay window VW.
Previous owners in Italy have had regularly serviced the brakes and I know the cambelt has also been done over recent years.
