First registered by E L Harding Ltd of Windsor on 13. 04. 1929, this cute little Morris is in fantastic condition.
As an early model, she comes with the Wolesley OHC 885cc engine which starts 'on-the-button' and seems to perform well with no knocking or smoke.
All the other mechanics appear to be in extremely good order and to have been very well maintained.
The bodywork is in great order, with no sign of any rust or damage, with generally good paintwork. Please note however that there is some micro-blistering to some brown panels - not disastrous by any means, but worth mentioning.
The interior is also in fine order, re-trimmed nicely at some point in rexine (which I believe is correct) with a very nice hood with good clear windows.
Owned by a Barry Hodkinson, a retired motor engineer from Crook near Durham and, for the last couple of years, was cared-for (and registered to) a neighbour in the same town after Mr Hodkinson became too ill to continue to maintain what was obviously his pride and joy.
I have taken over the car in an effort to find a new long-term custodian of this fantastic and characterful little Morris.
The car is now in Stratford-upon-Avon, so please call for further details, especially as viewing is obviously difficult (but not impossible!). I have therefore uploaded a walk-around video of the car to YouTube. Just type in: "1929 Morris Minor 4 seat Tourer". I hope it helps.
Cheers,
Robert.
