Genuine, very low mileage car (15, 000 miles), in excellent condition throughout, having undergone an extensive ‘refresh’ late in 2019, by an MG specialist in Derbyshire. The refurbishment works included new head gasket, water pump, cam belt and an engine service. The sub-frames were refurbished and Waxoyled, the brakes were overhauled, five new tyres were fitted to the refurbished wheels and new stainless steel sports exhaust was fitted along with a new cooling system. Stone chipping to the underfloor and sills was applied, and a new quality mohair hood with glass rear screen (heated) was fitted, and the Hydragas suspension was topped up. The paintwork is first class as is the interior, incorporating leather seats. There is a rear wind deflector and roll hoops. The car offers great performance through its 1. 8 VVC engine with road handling to match, and very good brakes. All in all, a very good example ready for immediate use and being a fairly early model, this car has a good feel of maturity and is a pleasure to sit in and drive. It comes with a file of old MOT certificates supporting the mileage, and current V5C, MOT to October 2021. The distinctive and pertinent registration number comes with the car.
