A rare 1947 Studebaker champion 4 door sedan. This is an ex California car where it spent most of it's life. Imported into UK in 2010. as you would expect from a California car is has a fantastic rust=rot free un-restored body and chassis. The interior is all original apart from sometime in it's life the seats=door cards have been re-upholstered in a green velvet=velvet type material which looks great it also has had new headlining. The only body blemish really is it does have some strap marks on the roof which so I've been told was done when shipped on import, and a few minor marks that comes with the age of the car. In my ownership it has had a new water pump. The door rubbers and trunk rubber could do with replacing as they are original and new door rubbers and a trunk rubber will come with the car. The original 2786cc engine sounds great and growls=purrs nicely.
Included are ::: original workshop manual, an original 1947 dealers advertisement flyer, and an original paint chart for the model.
The small pool of water which can be seen under the front of the car in some of the scans is because they were taken prior to the new water pump being fitted.
