An attractive Riley four light Kestrel, fitted with a 'Special Series' 9hp engine mated to an ENV preselect gearbox.
This super little car, by common consent one of the prettiest saloons of the 1930`s, presents beautifully.
A comprehensive restoration was undertaken in 2009/ 10 with under 5000 miles being driven since then according to the accompanying MOT certificates. On file are 2 CDs with over 100 pictures of the restoration.
The engine is the 9hp four cylinder unit which benefits in this instance from the correct twin OM series SU carburettors and Scintilla magneto , mated to the ENV preselector gearbox , the pinnacle of `9` options!
The body is sound having been restored and the paintwork is lovely in a very pleasing shade of green/ grey and black with a complementing interior which is nicely patinated.
An MOT dated 11/ 02/ 21 has recently been carried out for peace of mind and the Riley is ready for her next adventures be they shows, rallies, holidays or trips to the pub.
