1972 VW BEETLE 1300 DELUXE SALOON
Finished in VW brilliant silver metallic (one of only a few in silver) with black trim and nicknamed ‘the Silver Machine’ after the famous group Hawkwind. 7 former keepers and the vehicle has covered 107, 000 miles since new in 1972, some 47 years ago and average of 2300 miles per year. It has only travelled 10, 000 miles since the full restoration which is to a very high standard and included a new floor, new panels, bare metal respray, new roof lining and carpet kit, rebuilt mechanics and a new engine. This car is for the person who requires a beautiful VW Beetle, restored to the original specification.
It is great to see that it has been kept completely as it would have been when it left the factory in 1972, it drives extremely well and looks stunning and original. This car has not been customised nor adapted in any way but kept as it should be.
