Austin Healey 3000 MK 3 BJ8 late phase 2. Built between 12th-16th May 1967 and dispatched to USA on the 15th July 1967. This is one of the 553 original Metallic Golden Beige Mk 3’s built and has just arrived back in the UK with ourselves requiring restoration.
It is a numbers matching car even down to still retaining its original keys mounted on period key fob. There a no signs of accident damage to the front or rear aluminium shrouds, the chassis so solid and straight and the engine runs with good oil pressure.
We believe this car was taken off the road well over twenty years ago to carry out repairs which the owner started but for one reason or another didn’t finish. The speedometer shows a mileage of 29, 690 and we think this could be the original mileage.
